Mantra Mirror
Mantra Mirror is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, track, or share your personal data. Your data is stored on your device and optionally synced across your devices via your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service.
Mantra Mirror uses Firebase Crashlytics by Google to collect crash reports and non-fatal error logs. This helps us identify and fix stability issues. Crashlytics collects:
This data is sent to Google's servers and retained for 90 days. Crashlytics does not collect your mantras, practice history, video recordings, or any personal content. No advertising identifiers or tracking data is collected. For details, see Google's Privacy Policy.
Mantra Mirror uses Firebase Analytics by Google to collect anonymous usage data such as when you complete a practice session or reach a streak milestone. This helps us understand how the app is used and where to focus improvements. Analytics collects:
No mantra text, video recordings, personal information, or advertising identifiers are ever included in analytics data. For details, see Google's Privacy Policy.
Mantra Mirror requests the following permissions, all of which are used entirely on your device:
Camera — Used to display a live preview of yourself while you practice affirmations. Camera footage is processed on-device and is never transmitted externally. Video recordings are stored temporarily on your device and are deleted automatically.
Microphone — Used to capture your voice for real-time speech recognition while you recite mantras. Audio is processed on-device and is never transmitted externally.
Speech Recognition — Used to transcribe your spoken words and match them against your chosen mantra. Speech recognition is performed by Apple's built-in speech framework, which may process audio on-device or via Apple's servers depending on your device and iOS version. This processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Notifications — Used to send locally scheduled daily reminders. Notifications are managed entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers.
Mantra Mirror stores the following data locally and syncs it across your devices via your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit:
Only you can access this data through your iCloud account. We never have access to your mantras, practice history, or any content you create.
When you complete a mantra practice, a video is recorded and stored temporarily on your device. These temporary files are automatically cleaned up when the app launches. If you choose to share a video to Instagram Stories or another app, that sharing is initiated entirely by you using standard iOS sharing features.
Mantra Mirror offers a premium upgrade handled through Apple's App Store. Purchase transactions are processed and verified by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information.
Mantra Mirror does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
